School Uniform

 

 

Please ensure that all uniform is labelled clearly with your child’s name. If an item is mislaid it is more likely to be returned if it has got a name on the label.

School has got a wide selection of preloved uniform items, if you would like to view any of these please speak to the office. There is no charge for any of these items.

 

*School Shoes need to be suitable all-black school shoes. Children do a lot of running around and playing. Shoes like Crocs, shoes with heels, ballet pumps or high boots are not suitable. Trainers with coloured designs on them are not acceptable, neither are shoes with visible air bubbles. Plain black trainers, like the Adidas Tensaur, are acceptable school shoes.

  

^Please ensure water bottles are an appropriate size and material. ‘Large Stanley Cups’ take up a lot of space and can get knocked over easily. Glass bottles are liable to break if they are dropped and so are not appropriate.

 

Summertime

In the summer please ensure that children come to school with an appropriate sun hat and with a water bottle.

 

Jewellery

Items of jewellery can cause accidents and a great deal of pain. Therefore jewellery is not allowed to be worn in school. Studded earrings are acceptable but they need to be taken out before PE lessons. If your child is not able to take earrings out before a PE lesson please ensure that they are taken out at home before school.

 

Watches are allowed to be worn but please remind your child that they are responsible for their own belongings. Smart watches with phone/camera/recording apps or ones that can connect to the internet are not allowed. Simple fitness trackers, that just track number of steps, are allowed to be worn.

 

Hairstyles

Hair must be of natural colouring and in an appropriate style for school. Long hair would preferably be tied up/plaited. For PE long hair needs to be tied up, please provide bobbles for you child if it needs to be tied up for PE.
